My name is Joseph Erik Mattern and I am the Chief Executive Officer of aeroG Aviation, which is based in Woodland Park, New Jersey.
I was fortunate enough to become a eVTOL researcher from the moment the word eVTOL was created and I recently became aeroG's first CEO. I am honored to have been chosen for this position and I am equally up to the task. You will not find many people who are as passionate about the eVTOL industry as I am!
Our aG-4 aircraft, based on X-Plane 11
simulation, will be able to fly from the KJRB Manhattan Wall Street Heliport to KPHL Philadelphia International Airport in approximately 18 minutes, at a speed above 275 knots, this while carrying 10 passengers. This trip by ground, in traffic, would typically take roughly 120 minutes.
Additionally, our aG-4 aircraft will have the capability to carry larger passengers with dedicated seats to address the need to fly a passenger in excess of the current 200 pound seat weight, found in many eVTOL aircraft design's. This topic, 'Flying Larger Passengers' more than any other, I am most passionate about!
